This policy explains what personal data YHN Dev Side collects through this website and in its work with clients, what it is used for, who else receives it, and how you can exercise your rights over it.
1. Who Is Responsible
YHN Dev Side is the trade name under which Yohan Chayan provides web and software development services. YHN Dev Side is responsible for the personal data described in this policy, and can be reached at yhndevside@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what each part of the site, or the work itself, needs:
- When you request a draft: your email, your name if you give it, the problem you describe and the options you choose
- When you book a call: your email, your name if you give it, the time you choose and your time zone
- When you sign in with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn: the name and email that provider shares with us
- When we work together: the project details, communications and billing information the work requires
- When you browse, and only if you accept analytics: usage data collected by Google Analytics, described in the cookie policy
3. How We Use Your Information
Each piece of information is used only for the purpose it was given for:
- Writing and sending you the draft you asked for, and following up on it
- Arranging the call, sending its confirmation, meeting link and reminder
- Giving you access to your account
- Delivering, billing and supporting the work agreed with you
- Understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used, in order to improve it
4. Data Protection
We protect your information with:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) on every page of the site
- Access limited to the person who operates the studio
- Passwords stored only as one-way hashes, never as text
- Security updates to the server and the software
5. Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal data. It reaches a third party only where a service needs it:
- Our email provider, to deliver the messages you asked for
- Google, when you book a call: the booking is added to our Google Calendar with your name and email, so that it has a Google Meet link
- Google, GitHub or LinkedIn, only when you choose to sign in with them
- Google Analytics, for the usage data described above
- Authorities, when the law requires it
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as its purpose requires, or as long as the law requires. Drafts and bookings are kept so we can follow up on them; ask us and we will delete yours. After a project ends, its data may be kept for a reasonable period for support and the warranty.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Stop using your data for a particular purpose
- Give you a copy of your data
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The site uses a few cookies to work, and Google Analytics to measure visits. The cookie policy lists each of them.
